Tom’s Driving Academy offers an array of options for you as a new driver.
We offer two programs for the teenage driver. Should you need or want different driving arrangements, or are an adult driver please call – 503-648-7086
PRIVATE LESSONS – NON TRADITIONAL PROGRAM
This program always has openings for new students, please call to sign up.
* Student will complete 4 classes in a row
* Classes are ongoing, allowing students to begin any Sunday or Monday
* Classes are offered on Sunday evening in Hillsboro, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M.
* Classes are offered on Monday evenings in Beaverton, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M.
* Three-two hour private driving lessons are set personally with one of our certified driving instructors
* Certificate is for insurance purposes only and is recognized by most insurance companies
* This program requires that parents drive 100 additional hours with their student before they receive their license
* Drives can be completed in family car for $300, covering classroom and driving
* Or drives can be completed in academy car for $350, covering classroom and driving

SHARED LESSONS USING ACADEMY CAR – TRADITIONAL PROGRAM
Our winter session dates are:

The nontraditional program always has openings.
* Drives are predetermined and run concurrent with the classroom setting
* Student will drive behind the wheel for 6 hours and observe another driver for 6 hours.
* Certificate will have ODOT seal on it; and will be accepted by insurance companies that give discount for Driver’s Education.
* The program requires that parents drive 50 additional hours with their student before they receive their license.
* Class and drives are $299.
